When Tuesday 30th - Wednesday 31st October 2007 Where Reunification Palace - HCMC Objectives The resounding success of the Investment Mart 2005, organized in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), has brought serious interests from foreign investors all over the world, who have come and looked for business opportunities not only in HCMC, but in the surrounding provinces as well. The Southern Key Economic Zone, comprising of HCMC, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Tien Giang, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh is the most dynamic economic development, having high, sustainable growth rate with GDP occupying 50% of the nationwide GDP and absorbing 60% of total foriegn investments in the country. With the purpose of establishing the unifying efforts for investment appeal into the whole Zone and in the preparation for the new waves of foreign investment into Vietnam following the WTO accession, the Investment & Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) of HCMC, with joint efforts of the Southern Key Economic Provinces and VN Ventures, organize the second Investment Mart 2007. The conference will focus the investment attraction on these areas: Infrastructure Real Estate & New Urban Developments Information Technology, Hi-Tech Developments Services: Healthcare, Commerce, Education In-direct Investments, Capital Markets, Finance Tourism Energy, Oil & Gas Structure of the Event Two integrated activities - exhibition and conferences, will provide participants with excellent networking opportunities.  Projects appealing for foreign investment will be displayed at the exhibition part where foreign investors can meet up with local project-owners for direct discussions.  Business environment, legal regulations and investment incentives and other market issues will be addressed in the conference with goals of providing potential foreign investors with a realistic picture of Vietnam as the 150th member of the World Trade Organization.
